Every client so far came from someone you know. That well has a bottom.
I build the way work arrives so it stops depending on your address book — written down, owned by name at every stage, and run day to day by somebody who isn't you.
For owners who are the whole sales function and can feel it starting to slip.
What I do
How do new clients find you right now? If the honest answer is “referrals, mostly, and a bit of luck”, you don’t have a pipeline. You have a weather system. Sunny until it isn’t – and when it turns, you’re discounting to fill the calendar and calling it strategy.
Two things throttle the growth. You’re the only real salesperson, so selling happens in a panic when the pipeline runs dry. And the old plays don’t work: cold outbound lands in inboxes full of “Hi {FirstName}, love your work” slop, and yours gets binned with the rest.
So I build the machine that turns the right strangers into the right clients – and make it runnable by your team, not just by you. Where they come from, what happens next, who does what, and how a lead becomes a signed contract without you carrying every step.
Why Work With Me?
Because I built the entire commercial engine around Outreach.Software, an AI startup acquired before it shipped, and I’ve run sales for my own agencies for years. I’ve made the cold calls, written the proposals, and felt the month where nothing closes.

What’s Included
When I build your acquisition system, here’s what you actually get. Not a CRM and a prayer – the words, the process, and the discipline to run it:
Where your best clients come from
A clear picture of where your best work really originates, and how to get more of it on purpose.
A sales process, written down
So it survives you being busy, instead of living only in your head.
Outreach that sounds human
Researched, relevant, and unmistakably you – not a mail-merge.
Proposal & follow-up, fixed
So deals stop dying in the gap after the call.
A pipeline you'll actually use
Simple enough that you’ll look at it, so famine never sneaks up again.
Who this is for
Built for studios that need a second way of winning work, not a bigger version of the one they have.
- You couldn't say where next quarter's work is coming from.
- Every deal still needs you on the call.
- Outreach is something you start, then abandon when a project lands.
- A good month follows a referral rather than a plan.
- You want lists of leads bought in by the thousand.
- You're looking for someone to make the calls on your behalf.
How the pipeline gets built
Four stages, and you're off the phone by the last one.
Trace the wins
I work backwards from your best clients to find how each one actually arrived. It's rarely where you think.
-
Back one channel
We pick the single route worth doing properly, and stop half-doing the other four.
-
Write it down
I turn it into a process with a name against every stage, so it keeps running while you're heads-down on delivery.
-
Hand it over
I train whoever's going to run it, then stay on the calls until they don't need me on them.

Client Acquisition Systems FAQ
Do I need to hire a salesperson first?
Not necessarily. Often the first win is making the people you already have effective, with a process that doesn’t rely on talent and mood.
How long until the pipeline feels different?
The leaks in your existing process usually close fast. A steady flow of new, right-fit leads takes a quarter or two to compound. Anyone promising overnight is selling you something.
Is this just CRM setup?
No. The tool is the easy bit. The system, the words, and the discipline to run it are the actual work.
Does cold outreach even work now?
Spray-and-pray is dead. Targeted, researched, genuinely relevant outreach still works, because almost nobody does it – and I’ll keep you the right side of UK B2B rules while we do.
I have no time to run outreach. Who does it?
Not you, ideally. The point is a process someone else can run – a junior, a coordinator, a freelancer – with you only in the conversations that need you. If it depends on your hours, it isn’t a system.
Most of my revenue is one big client. Is that a problem?
A dangerous one. If one client leaving would put you in trouble, fixing that concentration is the first acquisition job – we build a pipeline so no single logo can sink you.
