Terms of use

A description of what I do and how I work, and a way to get in touch. Everything on it is written to be accurate and kept that way — but it is general. Nothing here is advice about your studio, your pricing or your business, and it should not be acted on as though it were.

Rates shown are starting points. Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance, and no contract exists between us until one is agreed in writing.

This page covers the website. If we work together, that is a separate agreement we both sign, covering scope, price, notice and everything else that actually matters.

Where the two disagree, the signed agreement wins.

The contact form is the only channel. Send something real and I will read it and reply.

Do not send confidential material through it — I cannot protect what I have not yet read, and a first message never needs it. Please also do not use it for recruitment pitches, agency outreach or list-building. It reaches a person, not a queue.

Most of what I have done for other studios is under NDA. That is why there are no client names and no figures anywhere on this site.

What you tell me about your business gets the same treatment — before an engagement, during one, and after it, whether or not anything has been signed.

The writing, the design, the marks and the code here are mine. Quote a passage with a link back and we are fine. Do not republish the site wholesale, and do not use the logo to imply an endorsement or a relationship that does not exist.

Third-party names and marks that appear here belong to their owners, and are used only to point at the relevant profile.

Where this site links elsewhere — LinkedIn, Behance, Clutch, someone else's site — I do not control what is there and I am not responsible for it.

A small site run by one person. It may be down occasionally. I do not promise it will always be available, and I am not liable for anything that follows from it not being.

So far as the law allows, I am not liable for loss arising from your use of this website or from acting on its general content.

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

I update these when the site changes. The date beside this page tells you when that last happened.
